Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has passionately lauded Ebonyians in the business community outside the State, who have distinguished themselves in their various spheres of endeavours, thereby making Ebonyi State proud.
The Governor who was joined today by Engr. Dr. Darlington Ugota during the Governor’s inspection at the University of ICT Oferekpe, praised the young Ebonyi entrepreneur for thinking home and investing in the State.
“I am delighted in the way you guys are springing up and making Ebonyi State very proud. We are happy and I charge you to keep it up. God will replenish you a trillionfold. Do not see it that you are wasting your resources, No. It is the Grace of God that put you in a position to be wealthy so you can help others. So I am happy that you guys are thinking home and representing us in the business community.
“Which other State is as peaceful and conducive as Ebonyi? So I am happy with what you are doing and I have told our people, that I am ready to meet anyone, anywhere to help and protect Ebonyi people. So if there is any way you guys feel I can be of help, I am ready and willing to assist you to grow higher.” – Governor Nwifuru said.
Engr. Ugota commended the Governor for his peaceful disposition in the State and his ingenuity in putting up the University of ICT. He pledged to always represent the State in a good light wherever he finds himself. The Ezza-born businessman took the opportunity to brief the Governor on the successful hosting of the recent football tournament which he did over the yuletide season, noting that he has flagged off a new football academy with a site at hand for construction of a standard football field in that respect.
