Ebonyi State has come 5th out of 36 in the recent States Fiscal Transparency League Table, the first quarter of the year 2024, as released by BudgIT.
The accountability rating is based on several factors, which cumulatively, scores each State accordingly.
The previous rating saw Ebonyi State in 8th position. The current leap to 5th position is proof of the conscientious effort by Ebonyi State Government to raise the bar in transparency and prudence in the management of resources.
I am certain Ebonyi State will keep climbing up the ranks until the zenith.
