Yesterday night, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru continued the inspection of water facilities in the State to the low-lift area where we have Ebonyi River.
The dilapidated low-lift facility is meant to move the raw water from the Ebonyi River to the high-lift at the hill, where water is treated and pumped to various areas. The Governor has vowed to fix it and directed the Commissioner for Works, to get the road in good shape, from CAS to the low-lift area and replace the collapsing culverts. That road is the main waterworks road.
In addition to ensuring good water gets to Ebonyi people, fixing the roads will ensure Agricultural activities in the area get on the rise and proper security of the environment as well. The People’s Charter of Needs is simply geared towards satisfying the immediate and future needs of Ebonyi people. Governor #FON is firm on doing just that.
